Showbizworks.com entertainment agency has provided the headline act for Margate's Big Event this Sunday, 15th June. The VK Band are one of the country's top bands. Stylish and sophisticated, they have performed at some of the world's most prestigious events including the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 and the Nice-Simiez Jazz Festival. They have also been the support act for Dame Cleo Lane, Sir Johnny Dankworth and Rita Coolidge. The weekend offers two days of thrilling free entertainment with full flying displays alongside exciting arena acts, live music and some of the country's top street entertainers. Saturday 24th May saw Ricky Hatton beat Juan Lazcano at his Homecoming fight at the City of Manchester Stadium by unanimous decision. Since his defeat to Mayweather in December, Ricky was determined to beat Lazcano. The homecoming fight attracted 55,000 fans to the Stadium.
