10/02/2009 - NEIGHBOURS STAR AVAILABLE FOR PA''S - Stefan Dennis flies to UK for two week promotional campaign

Neighbours star actor Stefan Dennis will be available for corporate events and personal appearances through Showbizworks.com during his promotional visit to the UK. Stefan will be appearing on TV shows and doing radio interviews and he will be available to Showbizworks.com entertainment agency clients from the 16th February until the 27th February inclusive. In 1985 Stefan landed a role in Neighbours. He originally auditioned for the role of Shane Ramsay before ending up as the character we all know, love and hate him for...Paul Robinson.

Through the role in Neighbours came opportunities like appearing at the Royal Variety Performance along with other cast members. Neighbours has become popular worldwide, being shown in 57 countries. In the UK alone there are more people watching the show than total population of Australia! After finishing Neighbours in 1992 Stefan moved to the UK and worked on a variety of TV shows and theatre productions. Stefan is no stranger to the stage in the UK, having appeared in many pantomimes, plays, and musicals. In 1994 Stefan played Mickey in Blood Brothers. Starting with tours in New Zealand and Australia, before returning to the UK to appear in the show in both the West End, and in a national tour of the UK. Even with living in the UK and appearing in TV shows such as Dream Team, River City, The Bill, and Casualty. Whilst in the UK Stefan has also become a partner in Lex Filmed Entertainment and was associate producer on the movie ''The Truth About Love'. More recently Stefan was invited back to 'Neighbours' initially for a short stint as a returning cast member as part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations for the show. It wasn't long before Stefan's contract was extended, due to his characters popular return, and Stefan is now back a regular cast member, with lots of exciting storylines for us to enjoy and look forward to. 02/02/2009 - SHOWBIZWORKS.COM AUDITIONS FOR CASINO CONTRACT - London and Manchester auditions for six month casino contract in Madeira

Showbizworks.com is holding auditions for trained dancers and a male and female lead singer to front a new production show at the prestigious Casino da Madeira. The six month contract begins in May with rehearsals starting mid April. Female dancers should be 5'7-5'9 and male dancers need to be 5'9-6'1. Vocalists should be able to front a production show and sing classic pop standards and ballads. The London auditions will take place on Wednesday 4th February 09 at Danceworks, Studio 5 on Balderton Street at 11am for dancers and at 2pm for vocalists. The Manchester auditions will take place at The Northern Ballet School on Oxford Road on Thursday 5th February 09 at 11am for dancers and at 2pm for vocalists. Male dancers should also bring tap shoes. Singers should prepare two songs, one up tempo pop standard and one ballad to backing tracks. A CD player will be available at the audition. Showbizworks.com already has a show running at the Casino in Madeira and this new production will run until the 31st October.
