SIRO-A, the multi-award winning, electronic multimedia dance theatre extravaganza presents its London premiere from the 1st February until the 22nd April 2013 at The Leicester Square Theatre in London.

"The lovechild of GamarJobat and Sirqus Alfon, this is a technical marvel. Conspiring to combine comedy, dance and technical wizardry with a healthy dose of thumping techno music, live performers superimpose themselves over projected material, … quality family entertainment". ****Three Weeks

SIRO-A, in association with World Dance Management, is an exciting six strong performance group from Sendai, Japan, who have wowed audiences all over the world and are now, for the first time, bringing their unique performance style to London.

The name SIRO-A, derived from the Japanese word ‘SIRO' meaning white or colourless, means to belong to no group or impossible to define. And tough to define they are!

"At one point, I couldn't tell the difference between live performer and projected image. This is a spectacular visual experience. This Japanese company overwhelm with staggering technological interactions between multimedia, performer and audience member." **** Broadway Baby

Often described as Japan's answer to the Blue Man Group, SIRO-A perfectly fuse modern technology with mime and movement all set to a pulsating electro beat, mixed live every night. Their visually stunning show performed to 30,000 people at the Shanghai Expo, has wowed TED.com audiences in Tokyo and won Mervyn Stutter's "Spirit of the Fringe" award at the Edinburgh Festival 2011.

This is a spectacular piece of family entertainment, fusing video mapping, laser lights and on stage DJ's. It's an interactive, multimedia, physical/dance theatre show combining human body performances with video projection technology and breath-taking optical illusions while SIRO-A flex their finest techno muscle. It's an explosion of light, sight, sound, and movement, seamlessly breaking language barriers with a non-verbal performance that can be enjoyed by all people of all ages.

"A brilliant, bright and beautiful show… some of the most manic and animated human performers you are likely to see anywhere. It's mime, but not as we know it!" Total Theatre

Tuesday 16 October – Sunday 4 November 2012
Performances at 7.30pm
Tickets: £12 - £38
Ticket Office: 0844 412 4322 FLASH MOB

FLASH MOB - Where dance world's collide!

"For every self-indulgent, esoteric, audience alienating, dance show ever performed, FLASH MOB is the antidote. This is a dance mob that's flash - although for flash read talented, hard-working and completely dedicated to their craft. For those who think commercial dance means leaving your artistry at the door, then the acts brought together to create (FLASH MOB) are ready to prove you wrong"
Kelly Apter, The Scotsman - 5 stars

After a successful premiere and five star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, FLASH MOB now transfers to London's West End at the Peacock Theatre, 16 October – 4 November 2012.

FLASH MOB is a multi-genre dance spectacular featuring the talented performers from some of television's best dance reality shows. The production delivers an explosive mix of dance styles. Latin meets lockin', contemporary goes Celtic and jazz joins jump jive in a full evening performance that will literally have the audience on their feet and dancing in the aisles. As well as performing in their own right, each of the artistes will also demonstrate how all dance genres can come together fusing various styles to simply celebrate the joy of movement, whatever your dance background and culture.

A new addition for the West End performances, headlining the show will be Charlie Bruce, the winner of the BBC's prime-time dance contest So You Think You Can Dance? Joining her will be The Elektrolytes, the recently announced winners of Randy Jackson's America's Best Dance crew on MTV. This will be their first appearance outside America and their spectacular routines and innovative choreography are sure to have dance fans on the edge of their seats at The Peacock Theatre!

FLASH MOB is packed with energy as stars including contemporary dance duo Alleviate and edgy Irish dancers Brosena, both from Sky 1's Got To Dance, take to the stage for the first showcase of its kind for reality TV dance performers. Led by acclaimed Artistic Director Gary Lloyd, who has choreographed and directed Thriller Live in the West End, American Idols Live, Oh What A Night! and Gary has also worked with international stars including Will Young and Girls Aloud and on shows including The X-Factor and the Royal Variety Performance. FLASH MOB is a feel-good production that is the ideal family show.

12/08/2012 - FLASH MOB SHOW A HIT AT EDINBURGH FRINGE - Flash Mob dance show produced by World Dance Management is a hit in Edinburgh

World Dance Management has produced a brand new dance show called FLASH MOB that has premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe and attracted rave reviews Scotsman. Featuring some of the nation's greatest dance talent, many of the performers are familiar faces from TV dance reality shows such as Got To Dance and So You Think You Can Dance. Olivier award nominated Tommy Franzen from So You Think You Can Dance, contemporary dance duo Alleviate (runners up from Got To Dance), Irish dance duo Brosena and A Team also from Got To Dance and a Latin dance couple from the latest StreetDance 2 3D movie complete the Edinburgh line-up. SGFringe magazine

The production is a celebration of dance as an overall art form and artistic director Gary Lloyd (whose other productions include Thriller in the West End and worldwide) has created dance fusions where each of the difference dance genres are brought together culminating in a finale that includes a mini flash mob featuring the audience. The New Current 5* review

World Dance Management (which also lists Flawless and Dan Whiston in their stable of solely represented dance artistes), was keen to provide a creative platform for dancers from dance reality shows who, having achieved a moment of TV glory in their own right, often then lose their identity and creativity as they get signed up for West End shows and major tours to effectively join the chorus. Whilst the dancers continue to gain invaluable experience from these prestigious contracts, they no longer have the chance to choreograph and create their own ideas and these were the reasons that brought them to the public's attention in the first place.

In this production, each performer has worked closely with Gary Lloyd to create personal interpretations through their dance routines of the words 'flash' and 'mob' with some performances being inspired by flashbacks, flash moments, flashes of an inner self, a mob of dancers or flashes of inspiration and of course collectively this is a mob of very flash dancers!

The producers are now in talks to take the show into the West End in October with some of the existing cast as well as new artistes being added to the line up. There are also plans for the show to tour in 2013.

FLASH MOB is on at Assembly Hall in Edinburgh daily at 6pm (no show on the 14th October).
