SIRO-A, in association with World Dance Management, is an exciting six strong performance group from Sendai, Japan, who have wowed audiences all over the world and are now, for the first time, bringing their unique performance style to London.
The name SIRO-A, derived from the Japanese word ‘SIRO' meaning white or colourless, means to belong to no group or impossible to define. And tough to define they are!
"At one point, I couldn't tell the difference between live performer and projected image. This is a spectacular visual experience. This Japanese company overwhelm with staggering technological interactions between multimedia, performer and audience member." **** Broadway Baby

28/06/2010 - FLAWLESS INSPIRE YOUNG DANCERS AT DISNEY AUDITION - Flawless support youngsters at My Camp Rock 2 Dance Crew London auditions

DISNEY CHANNEL UK SEARCHES LONDON FOR YOUNG DANCERS TO CREATE MY CAMP ROCK 2 DANCE CREW
Successful dancers to perform in special routine at My Camp Rock 2 Final Jam, premiering on Disney Channel UK later this year – Recently, Disney Channel announced the return of its hugely popular TV talent contest, My Camp Rock, which will air later this summer. Inspired by the highly anticipated original movie Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam, which will air on Disney Channel in September, My Camp Rock 2 will see some of the UK's most talented young singers perform in this year's show, which will culminate in a nail-biting Final Jam performance to decide who will be crowned the winner.
The final four singers may have already been chosen but it wasn't too late for aspiring dancers from the South East to get involved. Disney Channel held the last of its open-auditions across the UK for 20 dancers to perform in a special routine at the contest's Final Jam. The South-East audition took place in London today at The Place, 17 Duke's Road, London, WC1H 9PY.
Stars of the new box-office smash Streetdance 3D and Britain's Got Talent 2009 finalists Flawless were also at the London auditions, helping to inspire and motivate hopefuls with their own unique brand of street dance. Flawless, who are headlining in their own show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August before an autumn tour, were on hand to cheer the kids on and show them some of their moves, which have seen them rise to become world dance champions.
Flawless said: "We're delighted to be involved with Disney Channel's My Camp Rock 2 Dance Crew. We know how much dance talent there is in the UK and as Londoners we were really looking forward to seeing the local talent in our city, and enjoying all the different dance styles out there. Through hard work and determination anyone can achieve their dreams, and hopefully for many youngsters who turned out today, this was the start of a journey to make their dream a reality!" Young hopefuls needed a passion for dance, a desire to be on Disney Channel, and be prepared to perform their very best moves. From these initial auditions, the lucky finalists who made it through to callback were then put through their paces by renowned choreographer Elizabeth Honan, who has choreographed for Girls Aloud and more recently Cheryl Cole's iconic Fight For This Love music video. During the callback, auditionees danced to It's On, the brand new track and music video from Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam, which can be viewed on www.youtube.com/disneychanneluk. Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam sees Mitchie (Demi Lovato) and friends returning to Camp Rock, eager to tune up and rock out. Nobody's more excited than Mitchie, who anticipates more than a summer of music. Fresh from a world tour, the rock band Connect 3 are also hanging out there all summer – Shane (Joe Jonas) to pursue last summer's crush on Mitchie, his band mates as moral support. Guitar legend Brown Cesario (Daniel Fathers), Camp Rock's owner, is ready to rock 'n roll.
But all is not as it appears at the teen paradise. Across the lake glistens the new Camp Star: a high-tech, big-money music camp funded by Brown's former band mate-with-a-grudge, Axel Turner (Daniel Kash). Down-to-earth Camp Rock may have passion, talent and commitment, but Camp Star boasts resources, infrastructure and money - enough money to poach Camp Rock's counsellors and put Camp Rock out of business. But Axel isn't counting on a natural born leader named Mitchie, who vows to save her beloved camp… may the best camp win. Camp Rock 2 The Final Jam will be broadcast on Disney Channel in September.
Since its premiere, Camp Rock has reached over 137 million unduplicated viewers, and its soundtrack has sold 2.5 million CDs worldwide while spending a remarkable 10 weeks in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart in the US.
