24/08/2008 - SHOWBIZWORKS.COM WINS RESORT CASINO CONTRACT - Showbizworks.com appointed to bring a touch of Las Vegas to Madeira resort casino

Showbizworks.com has been appointed to produce a spectacular floorshow for Casino Da Madeira, a division of The Pestana Group, one of the Top 100 World Hotel Chains, according to ‘Corporate 300 Ranking', published by the North American magazine "Hotels". The show will open at the resort casino on 1st November 2008 and will feature a breath-taking line-up of singers and dancers to entertain the thousands of guests welcomed to this beautiful resort overlooking the beautiful port of Funchal. The show will change every six months to respond to the high number of repeat visitors to the island. Under the artistic direction of Paul Walsh, the focus will be on glamour, with specially designed costumes and sets for a show that will bring a touch of Las Vegas to Madeira.

Sarah Webb has won her second Olympic gold medal at the Beijing 2008 Olympics in the sailing,(Yngling class) along with her team mates Sarah Ayton & Pippa Wilson - also known as three blondes in a boat! The team beat 15 rivals and weather conditions that might have prevented any sailing. Sarah won her first Olympic gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
